Handmade dyed pure silk scarf with urucum or annatto seeds. One piece, handmade, dyed with plants. The result is the soft and fluid touch of silk displaying a contemporary print created through Shibori. Shibori is a Japanese tye-dye technique for creating patterns in hand-dyed fabrics. The very soft orange of this silk scarf came from the annatto or urucum, traditional Brazilian red seed, which the indigenous people use to paint and protect the skin. The energy of urucum and the softness of silk, enveloping her neck.
